Outside my house recording of a helicopter that was circling overhead; not directly, but at an oblique angle - maybe a mile away or so. You can hear some birds and other ambient neighborhood sounds as the helicopter circles overhead a few times.

Created for the play 'exit the king' (wilbury group, 2011). A expressionistic storm, with walls crumbling down in slow motion. I made this by tearing wood and plastic apart and slowing down the sounds and adding percussion. The rain i recorded out my window.

Series of sounds produced by opening a window to a pattering rain: first the heavy wooden blinds being cranked open and lifted, then the metal latch being turned, the wood-frame window itself opened and its counterweight clanging in the wall, then the storm or screen window being lifted and popping into place.

I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open. This sample is part of the icefield-library. I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. Wonderful effects can also be achieved by filtering or timestretching the files.
